About Emilia
As Head Girl at my previous school, I have always been passionate about education and regularly organised and ran workshops for a variety of events, including Black History Month. Applying to Oxbridge from a state school with limited resources, I benefited from tailored tutoring, and am keen to afford this experience to others.

I first identify exactly what the student needs help with, and set up a plan based around this. I find it is most fruitful to treat lessons not just as a chance to tick off aspects of the application process, but as an opportunity to develop the students' understanding and ideas around their subject in order to strengthen their application. For example, having a broad discussion around their ideas and recommending further reading and resources.
I have experience with Oxbridge tutoring, as well as English and History A-Level.
Lessons are one hour, and are most suitable for pupils anywhere from the start of Year 12 to Year 13 before interviews take place.
