About Lydia
Hiya! I’m Lyds, a 28-year-old Welsh woman from South Wales with a real passion for the Welsh language, our history, and our heritage. I learnt Welsh all the way through my education, from meithrin (nursery) to sixth form, and completed all of my higher education through the Welsh language—even though my parents aren’t native Welsh speakers.
I believe learning should be enjoyable, so my lessons are relaxed, friendly, and full of encouragement. I’m a bit goofy, love a laugh, and want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

As you progress, we’ll explore Welsh culture, history, traditions, and the stories that have shaped our language over the centuries. My lessons are relaxed, friendly, and tailored to your goals, whether you’re learning for travel, family, work, or simply a love of Wales.
