About Luna

Hi, my name is Luna! I am an exchange student at Western University. I am from Spain (Zaragoza) but I am studying in France. I am 20 years old and I am half Spanish, half French. I am a political science student, I like politics, geopolitics but also traveling and meeting new people. My mother is a French teacher and since I was a child I have always seen her as a role model. So, to be able to give lessons and ask her help to progress and be a better tutor has always been an honor for me. From her, I learned that when you teach, you learn to create new activities, to think and rethink how to improve the course, and of course, that by teaching, you can help a lot of people!

About the lesson

In fact, I adapt my classes to the needs of the students and the level of Spanish they have. If the students in question are young, I try to use games to facilitate their learning and make sure that they want to continue learning the language. In this way, playful activities let me know that the children are enjoying themselves. For more mature students, it all depends on their language level and the subjects they need to work on (oral, written, grammar, vocabulary...). In any case, for me the most important thing is that the student sees progress in his learning and that he enjoys it. Spanish is a very beautiful language (I'm not saying that because I'm Spanish) that is easier to learn than other languages. Take the plunge!
