About Sophia
I grew up in Lima, Peru, one of the largest and fastest growing cities in Latin America. During my 15 years there I attended an international elementary, middle and high school that enriched my view on the world. I've tought both English and Spanish to childeren ages 10+ for more than 3 years, and now I do part time language teaching as a side job!
I've scored top percentiles in the Cambridge PET and First Certificate exams, received four A*'s out of six in the IGCSE and accomplished a 38/45 in the IB.

About the lesson

By beginning with a general evaluation of the student's language level, I create a personalized lesson plan which will maximize the student's ability and time through targeting the skills that need improvement. We will then walk through the structure of the lesson plan together.
Key areas that will be covered depending on experience level include but are not limited to;
-Spanish phonetics.
-Spanish vocabulary.
-Spanish conjugations, subject and predicate.
-Introductory reading
-Spanish grammar.
More advanced levels of learning can be taught according to student's experience. Academic levels that I cover are introductory, intermediate and advanced Spanish; as well as IGCSE Spanish Language, SL and HL (IB) Spanish Language & Literature, SL and HL (IB) Spanish as a Second Language.
