About Sierra
I have my undergraduate degree in Spanish education, as well as my Masters, both from UNL. While in my undergrad, I studied abroad in Bilbao, Spain for a semester. There I learned a lot of culture and language. I also have had friends from Mexico, Cuba, Peru, and Argentina. They taught me different colloquial terms to add to my overall knowledge. I taught middle school Spanish for 5 years, mostly Spanish 1 level. I also speak Spanish at home with my family.
I love listening to Spanish music, coffee, anything active, and being with family and friends in my free time!

Spanish
I specifically love helping with basic or beginner level Spanish. I enjoy helping students with any 4 modes of communication (listening, reading, writing, speaking). I also love helping students master difficult concepts. I personally was a middle-ground student and really had to dumb Spanish down for myself to learn it, and over my teaching career, I learned I am great at explaining things in the best way for it to click.
I love making people laugh and smile and in a lesson I will always find a way to crack a joke or explain something with a funny example so it sticks.
