About Justine
As a graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering, my tutoring style is really grounded in professional rigor , solid analytical skills, and this genuine drive to help difficult STEM topics feel way more understandable. I don’t go for just rote memorization… instead I focus on building deep conceptual scaffolding, using a sort of structured “I do, we do, you do” cadence that turns abstract math, and science formulas into real physical understanding. Each 60-minute session is organized on purpose—first we check what you already know, then I deliver the key ideas , and we finish with rigorous guided practice, so progress is both valuable and measurable.
What actually distinguishes my practice is this engineering mindset. I’m kinda especially prepared to connect the gap between textbook theory and real world industrial work. I also translate advanced chemistry, physics, and calculus into concepts you can genuinely picture and apply, not just repeat. Whether I’m working with high school students on advanced tracks, college-prep candidates, or early university undergrads moving through technical degrees, my students get the highest level of academic mentorship, organized support, and career-minded guidance—aimed at making sure they succeed .

As a tutor, my teaching style kind of comes from an engineering mindset, you know, where the goal is more about analytical problem solving than just rote memorization. I try to get students to actually grasp the physical, real world uses that sit behind abstract math and science equations , not only memorize what they look like. Usually a 60 minute session is pretty structured, it starts with a quick review of what we already did, then moves into targeted concept delivery, and it ends with that “I do, we do, you do” guided practice setup, kind of like a matrix, so they can build independent confidence without feeling dropped in the deep end.
What really distinguishes me is that I hold a Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering. That background helps me connect textbook theory to practical industrial applications, for example, linking chemistry and physics to materials science and manufacturing, in a way that feels coherent and not random. My lessons are built for high school STEM students, college prep tracks, and early university undergraduates who want to master more advanced mathematics, physics, and chemistry using a structured analytical process and a highly supportive environment.
