About Yanika
I am a Commerce graduate with a Master’s degree in Finance, and teaching has always come naturally to me because of one core trait people consistently recognize in me: patience. I believe true learning happens when a student feels understood, supported, and guided with clarity, something I practice every day, both in my work and while teaching. I’m skilled at breaking down complex ideas into simple, real-world explanations, helping students truly understand rather than memorize. I share my knowledge because I know how powerful the right mentor can be in shaping a child’s confidence and academic journey. Parents trust me for my calm, structured approach, and students feel comfortable asking questions without hesitation. I am committed, disciplined, and genuinely invested in each student’s progress. My goal is to help them not only improve their marks but also build a strong foundation and belief in their own abilities.

My teaching approach is gentle yet firm, designed to help students build confidence without feeling overwhelmed. I start by understanding the student’s current level and then build their pace deliberately and consistently, so progress feels achievable while still maintaining high standards. Every class begins with a focused revision of the previous lesson for about 10% of the time, ensuring retention before we move ahead. After that, I drive the lesson with a clear plan, adjusting the pace only where it genuinely strengthens understanding. I am known for being patient and persistent and I make sure students feel supported, but I also ensure they stay accountable, attentive, and challenged in the right way. My classes are designed for school children who want strong fundamentals and measurable improvement. With a balance of clarity, discipline, and encouragement, I help students build real confidence in their abilities.
