About Azizullah
I am a passionate mathematics educator and academic leader who believes deeply in the power of inclusive and creative teaching. With an MSc in Mathematics from India and an M.Ed. from the University of Dundee, my research on the flipped classroom reflects my belief that students learn best through active engagement. I have taught at Kabul University and served as Dean at Kateb University, while also founding Setaragan Zirak High School to support Afghan girls’ education. As a board member of Education Bridge for Afghanistan, I continue working to make learning accessible to all and to inspire meaningful educational change.

I support critical thinking and teaching innovations. I also tend to incorporate games, jokes and humour while teaching my classes as a way of ensuring that learning is fun and engaging. I don’t want students to just learn; I want them to practise, make mistakes and apply what they have learnt. Students who get involved in the subject develop confidence, comprehension and a love of learning that remains with them outside of school.
