About Phumzile
I am working as an Educator in a high school teaching Mathematics and Mathematical Literacy. I love working with students, helping them and enlighten them with what most people like to think Maths is not an easy subject. Anyone can do it, as long as you start early and give it your all. I believe nothing is easy, as long as you give it enough attention, you’ll succeed. You need not to be scared and most importantly lazy. Have a good relationship with the subject and it will respond the same way too.

I believe it is always ti begin where learners are, and build from where they are to something new. That style always worked with most of the learners. It is easy ti then grasp the new understanding if you relate it with what they currently know. I believe learning styles for different learners should be applied, not everyone understands the same way. All of that should be taken into consideration. At the end of the day, my learners and I should be in the same boat and in a good relationship that the learner is comfortable with. In that way, it will be easy to work together and trust each other.
