About Seth
I have a gift for intuiting what students are striving to understand, and I strike a balance between engaging students with comprehensible input and providing explicit instruction in semantic and structural properties of the language. Depending upon the student's degree of fluency, a typical lesson may address, for example, instruction in verb tenses and comprehensible input in the form of a story or historical account.

I hold a Ph.D. in linguistics and am trained in a variety of language-teaching techniques, and have over 20 years of experience teaching languages to middle school, high school, and college level students.
