About Charles
One of the worries that students of Physics have is always about being able to find a job after studying Physics. But my experience is that Physics is the most versatile subject anyone can study. The study of Physics greatly broadens the mind because it is both theoretical and practical. Unlike Math which is mainly theoretical, Physics is theory that is anchored in the real world. Physics is such a versatile subject that a student of Physics can venture into other fields with relative ease: Engineering, Computer Science, Medicine, Law, Economics, Etc. I always inspire my students by emphasizing this fact to them.

Talking about Physics: It involves solving a lot of problems. However, Physics is not an abstract concept like Pure Math: the problems are just a way of proving that a student has a good understanding of the underlying Physics concepts because Physics is based on Physical laws/theories that have been observed / proven and verified by Experimental Physicists over time - by great men and women of Physics ranging from Nicolaus Copernicus to Isaac Newton to Luigi Galvani to Marie Curie to Conrad Röntgen to Erwin Schrödinger to Albert Einstein - just to mention a few. - My teaching method and techniques: First, introduce the underlying fundamental Principles. Then, proceed to solving problems which helps the students gain a thorough understanding of the concepts - My typical lesson plan: Involves grounding the students on the fundamental principle, then use problem set to test out how well the students grasped the fundamental principles - What sets me apart as a tutor?: My passion for Physics - Who the lessons are for (degree, level, class, specificities, etc.): High school students, Undergrads- as a GA (Graduate Assistant)
