About Jeanne
I am a retired Mechanical Designer. I have been doing math tutoring for over 20 years from elementary school through Algebra 1 as well as for adults in college or preparing for an exam including the ASVAB exam. My students have raised their grades as well as self-confidence. I specialize in helping students overcome math anxiety.

I start out by assessing the students level and needs. I will work at the speed they need, building on what they know. Many times I use pictures so they have a visual of the problem. Math is another language so I help the student learn what the symbols mean.
