About Eric

Singing should feel like a celebration — of your voice, your creativity, and your unique musical style. In our lessons, that’s exactly what we focus on. Every session is shaped around you — your goals, your favorite songs, your pace, and your comfort level. Whether you want to learn how to control your breath and pitch, expand your vocal range, build confidence, or simply sing more freely, I’ll guide you with patience and encouragement. You’ll get to choose the music that excites you — from pop hits and show tunes to acoustic ballads or classic rock — and I’ll help you sing it with strength and expression. Together, we’ll work on the technical aspects of your voice through fun, easy-to-understand exercises, and then apply those tools directly to songs you care about. I also bring in elements like lyric interpretation, character development, movement, and even gentle improvisation to make each session dynamic and meaningful. We go at your pace — sometimes slow and exploratory, sometimes focused and technical — depending on your needs that day. I’ll help you build a practice routine that supports your goals and fits into your life, without pressure or guilt. I also offer support with harmony, stage confidence, and even vocal health habits. Whatever your reason for singing, I’ll help you enjoy the process and feel proud of your progress every step of the way.

About the lesson

My methodology for teaching singing is rooted in helping students find their authentic voice and artistic identity. I use effective communication to build strong rapport and open feedback loops. Every lesson begins with a collaborative discussion of goals and ends with a personalized review of your progress and next steps.

I emphasize creative exploration. You’ll work on both technique and artistry, engaging with different musical forms, emotional styles, and vocal effects. Whether you're interpreting a jazz standard or developing a pop cover, we dig into what makes each piece unique—and what you bring to it.

I approach each student with cultural awareness. I adapt my teaching to fit the musical background and preferences of every learner. If you're performing in a language or style that is unfamiliar, I provide phonetic support, cultural insight, and stylistic tips so that your performance feels natural and true.

A framework of accountability keeps students focused and driven. We set measurable, realistic goals for short and long-term development. I provide regular progress evaluations, detailed lesson notes, and individualized practice plans to help students stay motivated and on track.

Beyond vocal training, I can also support you in related areas like mic technique, repertoire selection, stage presence, and emotional control during performance. My teaching goes beyond singing—it fosters a lifelong connection to your voice and your unique musical perspective.
