About Holly
I have been tutoring science and maths for the past six years, when I started working for a non-profit organisation called the Tutor Trust with a focus on teaching students with learning and behavioural difficulties. Since then I have worked as an individual tutor and on behalf of numerous educational companies in London where I have mostly taught GCSE, iGCSE, A-Level and IB science. I also have experience teaching the SAT Biology and Chemistry subjects tests for US University admissions. I have received excellent feedback from my students, many of whom have achieved their target grades and were accepted into their first choice of University. I have taught students with a range of abilities and have adapted each lesson to suit the needs of the individual student. I try to make my lessons as creative as possible so the student is engaged and enjoying the learning process.

I have a real love for science and a thorough understanding of scientific concepts, since completing an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry (1st) and a PhD in Clinical Neuroscience at King's College London. Since my studies I have been working as a full-time tutor due to the flexibility and satisfaction that it offers me. I pride myself on my ability to explain scientific principles in a way that is easy to understand and enjoy the feeling when a student is starting to feel confident in their scientific ability. I am a patient and friendly tutor and try to impart as much of my enthusiasm for the subject to my students as possible. Through my lessons I aim to not only build the confidence of the student, but also for them to develop an interest in science that will last a long time after our lessons finish.
