About Barney
Homeschool parents often contact me when standard curricula stop making sense. I spent 13 years observing exactly where students get stuck. My degree is in BS Mathematics from MIT, yet the real training came from teaching the confusion instead of the textbook.
I cover arithmetic and number sense, mental math, and word problems. My practice expands to trigonometry and linear algebra for advanced students. I also offer competition math prep and consistent homework help. This wide range keeps the entire household on track.
