About Tisha
I am a seasoned educator committed to helping learners of all ages succeed. As a former homeschooling parent and an experienced online tutor, I understand the importance of making learning enjoyable. Teaching is like cooking: I can prepare the information, but it is up to the student to consume it. My goal, as a tutor, is to make learning so appetizing that even the youngest scholar cannot help but want to learn. Please, allow me to help your young charge develop their love for learning and achieve academic success. All tutoring sessions are conducted via Zoom. As a versatile and experienced tutor, with a passion for English Language Arts (ELA), history, and science, I offer tutoring services in a wide range of subjects and grade levels. For students in Pre-K through 5th grade, I provide comprehensive support in ELA, social studies, math, and reading. I also focus on reading comprehension and writing skills for students in middle and high school. With my guidance, post-elementary students can improve their literacy skills, upgrade their critical thinking abilities, and develop strong writing techniques.
