About Eugene
I am currently a junior at Monta Vista High School, California. For the past three years, I have been giving lessons in many different fields, ranging from music to physics. My students have shown tremendous growth in their grades through my support (in fact, one of my students rose 20% in their grades). My best subjects are math and chemistry; I have taken intensive math courses and competitions to excel in this field. Likewise, I have studied chemistry for the past two years and have received perfect, or near-perfect, scores on all my exams.

As a high schooler myself, I know how challenging certain subjects may be. I give lessons to mainly elementary and middle schoolers, though I can teach some high schoolers as well. My lesson structure is often based on the student. I do not like to rush through content, and I emphasize understanding over memorization. I have prepared many documents and practice worksheets to drive in students' understanding of a certain subject. My lessons are divided into certain topics each session, but I'm more than willing to spend more time on a subject that a student is struggling with. It is my duty as a tutor to provide the best support for the students, and I'll do everything it takes to make that happen.
