My goal as a tutor is to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I believe every child learns differently, so I adjust my teaching style to fit each student’s needs and learning preferences.
A typical lesson begins by reviewing previous material, identifying any areas of difficulty, and setting a goal for the session. I then explain new concepts using simple, age-appropriate examples, work through practice problems together, and finish with independent practice to build confidence. I also provide positive feedback and helpful strategies that students can use outside of tutoring.

As an incoming Elementary Education major, I’m excited to begin gaining hands-on experience while helping students develop both academic skills and confidence.
