About Kara
I am an honors student and also a student athlete. I love learning and teaching, and I hope to go into education one day! My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but help them develop skills on how to learn in a way that works for them!

I believe every student learns differently, so I adjust my tutoring style to fit each student’s needs. I focus on breaking down difficult science concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps and use examples, practice questions, and visuals when helpful.
What sets me apart is that I am patient, encouraging, and understand how frustrating science can feel when a concept doesn’t click right away. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes.
My lessons are mainly designed for middle school and high school students who need help with chemistry.
