About Lara

Lara is an Honors high school graduate with a 91% average in Grade 12 and has several years of tutoring experience helping students succeed academically. She previously tutored peers while in high school, supporting many students in improving their understanding of challenging subjects and achieving their academic goals.

Her tutoring approach focuses on adapting to each student’s unique learning style, ensuring lessons are engaging, clear, and effective. Lara works with students in Grades 3–10 following the Ontario curriculum, helping with homework, difficult topics, test preparation, and building stronger academic confidence.

Her goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but to help them develop a deeper understanding of their coursework and feel confident in their abilities.

About the lesson

Online Tutoring for Students in Grades 3–10 (Ontario Curriculum)

A dedicated online tutoring service is available for students in Grades 3–10, designed to help children better understand their coursework and build lasting academic confidence. Each lesson is fully customized to the student’s individual learning style, strengths, and abilities, ensuring that they receive support in the way they learn best.

The tutor is an Honours high school graduate with a 91% average in Grade 12, with prior experience providing tutoring during high school. During that time, she supported many fellow students and peers in improving their understanding of course material and achieving their academic goals.

Tutoring sessions follow the Ontario curriculum and can assist with:

• Topics students are currently struggling with
• Homework support
• Covering and reviewing entire units
• Test preparation and effective study strategies
• Clarifying questions from class lessons
• Strengthening understanding of key concepts

Every session is designed to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment, helping students feel more confident in their abilities both in the classroom and when completing assignments or tests.
