About Robyn
Qualifications: AS Level Psychology (Cambridge International Curriculum) in high school. BSc Human Physiology, Genetics and Psychology at the University of Pretoria. BSocSci Honors in Psychology at the University of Pretoria. I've always been fascinated with understanding how the human mind works, leading to a focus not just on psychology but the physiology behind it too. I chose my university degree because it gave me the most thorough and in-depth look at how human beings function, all the way from neurophysiology and child development to psychopathology and the ethics of psychology. I'm passionate about education, but more importantly about learning and understanding for oneself, rather than just to get good grades. I intend to continue studying next year after finishing my degree and to go into clinical psychology in the future.

For first and second year Tuks students I offer tutoring in SLK 110, SLK 120, SLK 210 and SLK 220.
As a visual learner myself, my teaching style centres around helping the student visualise the topic in a fun way in order to retain information.
Since I studied psychology in matric and in university I have a large pool of notes to pull from (as well as a few study tricks) for any topic the student might need help with.
I teach in English and offer both online and in-person sessions for primary school, high school and university students.
