About Georgina

I hold a 2:1 in LLB Law (Hons), a Merit in MA Criminal Justice and I tutor many different subjects and levels in my spare time. I have over five years of private tutoring experience and enjoy working with students who may suffer from anxiety in exams and coursework preparation.
I have A-Levels and AS Levels in Law, Psychology, Chemistry, Biology, Sociology and Government and Politics and hold many GCSEs at A*-A grade. All of my employment experience has been customer service and training based, and I am well equipped to guiding others with their learning.
I am currently training to be an accountant but enjoy tutoring and look to on day own my own tutoring business.

-I have taught over 40 hours in Maths and English.
-I have taught over 50 hours of Law and Sociology at A-Level and Degree Level.
-I gave one-to-one science tuition to years 7-11 at my secondary school when I was completing my A-Levels. .
-Throughout my A-Levels I regularly tutored within the Law and Citizenship department giving feedback on lesson plans and study resources and running my own after school revision sessions.

About the lesson

The approach to tutoring I take is a fun and methodical one. I will equip students with the relevant knowledge needed for their exams and assignments but will also teach them the revision skills which have served me well throughout my own studies. I am passionate about working with students with mental health conditions (stress, anxiety, depression etc.) and can provide students with real-world coping mechanisms to complete exams and assignments with as little stress as possible.

I tailor the tutoring sessions to each individual student but lessons usually consist of quizzes, memory aid games, exam questions, videos and PowerPoint presentations and I will always set homework. I am available over the phone or email during the week if students need more support and guidance on what they have been set, and i give thorough feedback on every piece of work.
