About Rebecca
My name is Becca, and I am a 22-year old Irish student. I have just completed my undergraduate degree in Human Health and Disease, graduating with a 1.1 B.Sc. I am about to begin graduate-entry medicine, with the end goal of becoming a doctor. I have always enjoyed learning, particularly in science regarding the human body, but also other subjects such as chemistry and maths. I have always been a high achiever, and firmly believe that understanding a topic thoroughly, as opposed to just memorising, is the key to enjoying a subject whilst retaining information. I teach in the ways that I would best like to learn and have previously done, so that my students can achieve their maximum potential.
My students are important to me, as is their success. I strive to give all my energy into ensuring my students can learn in a safe, supportive, professional and caring teaching environment that allows them to gain knowledge and understanding without the additional stress that usually accompanies the process.

I approach teaching with a method that best suits the way my students learn, be that conversation, practising questions, examination, etc. the way you best learn is how we work.
Typically notes are made out with questions asked throughout the lesson, and summarised at the end, however this can be altered where needed or preferred.
I have previous experience teaching higher level chemistry and maths for leaving certificate (A-level), and biology on a University level, with positive results from my previous students. Lessons are aimed at all students from GSCE to university and catered to all abilities, with the end goal of my students feeling more confident in their understanding and memory of a topic so that they are well prepared.
