About Anthony
I'm a Philosophy and History graduate with a passion for ensuring each student is able to achieve their academic goals.
I graduated from Durham University in 2015 and since then have worked extensively in the charity sector with and on behalf of young people. I volunteered as a mentor in 2016 with the ReachOut programme and worked for 18 months with the youth charity The Mix which aimed to empower young people with autonomy and confidence.
My proven academic ability coupled with my experience working with younger students lands me in excellent stead to work effectively with each individual student. I am able to tutor students in a range of subjects from KS3/4 to A-Level in both humanities and science subjects.
I believe in an approachable attitude to tutoring with clearly defined goals which give a clear indication of progress. I'm aware of the distinct needs of each student and I am happy to adapt my style for the benefit of my students.
