About Beth
As a self-taught writer, I know very well the challenges of figuring out the core question: “how in the world do I write?” One of the broadest questions there is, it’s probably nonetheless the easiest to answer. The answer? With style. For example, persuasion pieces such as this blurb have to be short, precise, convincing, and to the point. And yet there are infinite ways to write one. I used the classic hook and explanation. And yet there are still infinite ways to do so. Writing is always a question of infinity. No two writers will put the same thing the same way. I don’t teach my students how to work my style, or any classic conventional styles or formulas. I teach you how to write in your own way, with your own unique style. In short, I teach you how to know your style and use it so that you can write your own words to your own needs.

Everyone writes differently. That’s the whole point. Whether your writing is casual or with a purpose, I can teach you whatever you need to learn. Be it how to properly express your ideas, how to keep your audience engaged or how to get the point across in the right span of time, or the art of drafting and self-editing, I can help you figure it out.
My lessons focus on a specific piece you are currently working on and aiding you to figure out how to orient your own unique writing style to work with the purpose of the piece.
With years of writing experience and well as a published book and more on their way, I’ve learned creative writing, essay writing, and poetry writing the same way that I teach it: in practice.
Note: my lessons are not geared towards exam writing, professional writing, technical or informational writing or anything expected after a high school level if the writing is being graded or assessed by someone else. I could try but no results or experience or progress is guaranteed.
