About Stanley

Hello! I’m Stanley and I just recently graduated from the Queensland Academy for Health Sciences in 2023, a selective entry high school. I graduated with an IB44 (99.70 ATAR equiv.), which places me in the top 3% worldwide. I have recently moved from the Gold Coast to Melbourne to start my Medical studies, and I am currently a 1st year student at the University of Melbourne, studying a Bachelor of Science, with a conditional spot to study in their Doctor of Medicine at the conclusion of my undergraduate studies.

About the lesson

I graduated in November 2023 with 44 points out of a possible 45 (Top 3% worldwide), and as such, I am very familiar with current IB syllabi. I offer tutoring in the IB Subjects of Economics, Chemistry and Biology at HL & SL levels. I received 7's in all of these subjects at HL, and received the highest score at my school in Economics HL. I am also able to tutor in IB Math Analysis and Approaches, at an SL level, for which I also received a 7 in.

I can also tutor the above subjects in VCE!

Why I differ:
- My high achievement across all subjects are a testament to how effective my learning techniques are.
- I have highly detailed notes and summaries for all of the above subjects, and I am able to provide up-to-date advice and tips in order to succeed in these subjects. As my student, you will also gain access to my entire suite of personal notes and summaries.
- A focus on tailoring toward each student's strengths, to achieve best possible results.
- I acknowledge that each subject requires a different set of skills and learning styles in order to succeed, and I explore these to provide the best possible results.
- A lot of practice questions, high quality responses, and sample papers are used in all my lessons.

I am also able to offer tutoring for Chemistry, Economics, and Biology IA's, as well as Group 4 (Biology) Extended Essay. My Extended Essay allowed me to take an all-expense-paid trip representing Australia at the International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), held in Dallas Texas in 2023.

Lessons can be delivered in English, or Mandarin Chinese.

I hold a current Victorian WWCC that can be presented on request.
