About Sara
I am a CRLA certified tutor, with 5+ years experience. I am a native speaker of Italian and I enjoy teaching and helping my students progress in their learning journey. As an ESL and adult learner myself, I can relate to the struggles of learning a new language and this helps me connect better with all my students. I also encourage my students to practice and not worry about mistakes; as an adult learner myself, I am very familiar with the fear of making mistakes, so I strive to provide my students with a safe learning environment that is conducive to trust and confidence.

Italian
I am experienced in teaching and tutoring students of all ages, from beginner to advanced. I like to open with a conversation about the student's learning style, preferences, level, why they are taking the class and what they want to gain from it; then I outline a plan to suit the student's specific needs. I focus on grammar and conjugation, paying special attention to topics that trouble the most such as use of prepositions. I encourage speaking and reading practice and use my own material.
