About Will
I have nearly twenty years’ experience teaching IELTS Academic and English for Academic Purposes, including university teaching in the UK, France, and Canada. I hold a BA in TESOL and Linguistics, a PGCE in ESOL, and an MA in TESOL and Applied Linguistics. I am currently completing a Doctorate in Education focused on international students in UK higher education. My teaching follows a flipped learning approach, with students working independently on my website to complete guided writing tasks between lessons for fast improvement. The focus is on the key features that most strongly affect band scores, using a carefully curated course based on academic research.
