About Imene

I’m a supportive and results-focused English teacher who adapts every lesson to each learner’s goals, level, and personality. For IELTS students, I teach clear, practical techniques and strategies for every task so you always know exactly how to approach the exam. My lessons are usually one hour and a half, giving us plenty of time to practise, ask questions, and build confidence. I hold a PhD in Language and Society from the University of Liverpool and have more than three years of IELTS teaching experience in both the UK and Algeria, along with my ongoing work as a university lecturer. I teach learners of all ages and levels, and my aim is to help you feel supported, motivated, and genuinely proud of your progress.

About the lesson

My approach is highly results-focused and fully tailored to each learner’s needs. For IELTS, I teach clear, proven techniques and strategies for every task and skill. Lessons are typically one hour and a half. With a PhD in Language and Society from the University of Liverpool, over three years of IELTS teaching experience in both the UK and Algeria, and ongoing university-level teaching, I support learners of all ages and proficiency levels in achieving real, measurable progress.

I needed to pass the IELTS exam to join university in the UK and Imene provided the exact type of lessons I needed because I basically started from scratch and new little about Englidh let alone IELTS.
