About Lin

I am a passionate educator with ten years of experience teaching in both local secondary schools and international schools.

In my first five years of teaching, I worked in local secondary schools, where I gained valuable experience teaching a diverse range of students from different backgrounds and abilities. This experience allowed me to develop my skills as an educator, and I learned how to engage students in a meaningful way to ensure their success.

After five years of teaching in local secondary schools, I transitioned to an international school, where I spent another five years of my career. Here, I had the opportunity to teach students from different countries, cultures, and academic backgrounds, which broadened my teaching perspective.

During my ten years of teaching, I have developed a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of the importance of education. I believe that every student is unique, and I strive to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where students feel comfortable to learn, express themselves, and grow.

About the lesson

As an experienced teacher, I have been teaching IGCSE Mandarin for five years. My lessons are designed for students aged 10 and above, and each session lasts for 1 and a half hours.
To ensure my students are engaged and actively participating in the learning process, I utilize interactive teaching methods. I believe that hands-on experiences, group discussions, and role-playing activities help students to better understand the material and retain the information they learn. I also enhance my lessons with visually appealing Power Point presentations that help to illustrate key concepts and keep students engaged.

Teaching IGCSE Mandarin has been a rewarding experience for me. I take pride in helping my students improve their language skills, as well as their cultural understanding. I believe that learning a new language opens up opportunities for students to broaden their horizons and connect with people from different parts of the world.

Overall, I am committed to providing a stimulating and engaging learning experience for my students. I believe that interactive teaching methods, coupled with visually appealing presentations, help to make learning more enjoyable and effective. It is my goal to equip my students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
