About Yasimina
I am an A-level student with a strong interest in subjects such as math, Business, Science, and creative/design work, and I understand firsthand how challenging exams and revision can feel. Because I am currently going through the same curriculum, I know what works when it comes to understanding content, revising effectively, and improving exam technique. I want to tutor because I enjoy breaking down difficult topics and helping others feel more confident in subjects they may find overwhelming. I also want to share the revision methods I use myself, such as active recall and exam practice, to help students improve their grades in a simple and structured way. My goal is to make learning less stressful and more understandable for KS3 and GCSE students (ages 11–16), and to support them in reaching their full potential.

My tutoring approach is focused on making learning simple, structured, and exam-focused rather than just memorising content. I break down difficult GCSE topics into clear steps and use techniques like active recall, short quizzes, and exam-style questions to check understanding and improve exam performance. I also focus heavily on exam technique, helping students learn how to structure answers to gain full marks using mark schemes effectively. A typical lesson lasts around 60 minutes, which allows time to review previous work, learn new content, practise questions, and go through mistakes to improve understanding. I am an A-level student with strong knowledge in subjects such as Geography, Business, Science, and creative/design areas, and I use the same revision methods I apply in my own studies to help others. My lessons are mainly aimed at KS3 and GCSE students (ages 11–16) who want to build confidence, improve grades, or prepare for exams in a clear and supportive way.
