When I was studying for my MCAT, Dr. Jess's tutoring majorly helped me improve my score. I felt like I was able to learn a lot of the material, but struggled in general on proper test-taking strategies for it (it's a really hard and different kind of test than normal). Jess just has this ability to figure out what it is that I’m thinking incorrectly about a topic and to reframe it in a way that immediately makes more sense. He helped me with all sections and very clearly knew the material incredibly well. I struggled in particular on biochem and psychology, and he turned those around for me into being my most comfortable sections. My score ultimately went from a 506 to a 517 and I got into med school!

Jess tutored all 4 of my children from middle school to high school. He even assisted with prepping my children for their ACT and SAT. Each of my children had very different style of learning and he was bale to adapt to each one of them. He is patient, kind, a great listener and truly cared how they performed on their tests. He was amazing at teaching them and was very understanding of their specific needs. He really cared about all of my children and they all really liked Jess which is not usual for all 4 of them to like a tutor considering they are all very different learners. I was very lucky to have met Jess because he really helped my children achieve and took them to the next level. He related to them and helped them gain tremendous confidence in themselves!
