Guitar is a very practice and rigor based instrument. One can slog on to the theory for hours, yet see negligible improvement practically. I thus follow a very practice based approach where we start diving into the practice right away and picking theory along the way. Once rhe student know the basic chords to play any popular song, he/she is more likely to advance with an actual interest in music.
