About Amit
I have done my B.Tech (Hons.) in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. I love teaching Mathematics to students of class 5 to class 12. I want to ignite passion for Mathematics in my students. I respect my students time and I want to teach them in an efficient way so that they are not running after the syllabus for the whole year. My aim is to complete the class syllabus in 3-4 months followed by Olympiad preparation of 3-4 months.

I am a passionate Mathematics teacher guiding students for Olympiad exams(SOF, Silverzone, Unified Council, Kangaroo). I have been teaching students of class 4 to class 10 for past 8 years.
I want students to explore Mathematics beyond routine school syllabus. I want them to attempt challenging questions which test their concept and skills. In mathematics, there are many ways in which a problem can be solved. My students should be able to think of a solution which is correct, efficient and quick. This skill can only be developed if we increase the scope of learning for students by testing them through “High Order Thinking Skill” questions.
I want my student to understand the concepts rather than memorizing the steps. A lot of time, I find that students are not able to understand why exactly a series of steps are done to solve a problem. In such cases they try to memorize the steps. Mathematics is all about concepts and understanding there is not a single thing which you need to memorize.
