I focus on strengthening basics, stating statements in deep by giving some examples and then I ellaborate further
how to apply theoroms, statements in real life and how to see them with simplicity. I focus on quality rather than quantity and most importantly I analyse my student, come to his level of grasp and go further.

  • What motivates you to teach & why?

Mathematics is something that should be learnt as well as taught from within by experimenting and imagining and relating mathematics everywhere you could possibly do. And I try implementing these principles to my students to bring something some beautiful mathematical out of them. I always to use mathematical model, shapes, graphs and diagrams to see everything which you can't trivially understand especially in subjects like Abstract Algebra or General Topology.
  • When did you start developing an interest in your subject area?

Since my childhood I am deeply interested in mathematics and I continue stepping onto these mathematical footsteps I am following since my childhood.

I used to play mathematical snake and ladder game, which had these rules like if you get a ladder while proceeding, go to next Fibbonanci Number, or Next second Prime number which In turn generated my interest in mathematics. Then there was this Puzzles like Tower of Hanoi which actually tests you at logical and advanced thinking levels. Further then Mathematics was no longer just a play of symbols but it revealed to me as the ultimate truth of this Universe.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

To be very honest but not to sound 'Over-Confident' at the same time, I always looked the person I will be on Tomorrow as My role model and The person I was yesterday as my teacher. Because I feel everyone is unique in their own way and one should never see themselves into another Personality. I don't want to be second Einstein, I would prefer to be known as first Akshay Sant, WHICH is who I am. This attitude always helped me getting better and better to avoid mistakes and be better Tomorrow which I prefer to be my 'Role Model'
  • What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?

At first, I struggled with explaining the geometrical structures but then I taught myself how to visualize and then I use the same techniques to make my students understand 3D Objects and so on.
  • In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?

Deeper Understanding, Creativity, Imagination, Dedication, Motivation and of Course Hard Work. I believe these are the 6 Key qualities that would make anyone excel in mathematics.
  • What would you say to a student who says, "This is too difficult, I give up!"?

I would say, "This is probably because you are thinking this is lengthy, or time-consuming. But mathematics is something where there is no time bound, and patience and dedication at problem-solving is gonna take you to the Place. For example, there was a 350 year Open and unsolved Problem Posed by Fermat known as Fermat's Last Theorem, it got recently solved in 1994 by Andrew Wiles. He came to know about this problem when he was 10, and then it took him almost 30 years to solve this problem. But most importantly he did it. Now you see what not giving upon something would do?"
  • How does someone become a Super Prof?

By dedicating themselves into teaching and having a real faith upon themselves and upon their students.
