I can give many real-world examples, and my way of explaining is not linear. I won't teach you from the book; I will teach you with examples and real applications, and then books will be basic stuff for you. I say you give it a try. For example, I will help you correlate your physics book diagrams from optics and why you can only see a limited area from underwater.
