Hi! I'm Boaz, originally from Israel but proudly calling Brisbane home for the past 10 years. I'm a visual designer, illustrator, and passionate lifelong learner with over 13 years of professional experience creating work that connects and inspires. My career has taken me across diverse industries—from designing engaging e-learning courses and educational materials, to crafting stunning game art and animations, building intuitive user interfaces, and developing eye-catching marketing campaigns. Each project has taught me something new about visual storytelling and effective design. While I studied art history and photography, I'm proudly self-taught in all the digital tools I use today. From mastering Photoshop and Illustrator years ago to embracing the latest AI-powered design innovations, I'm constantly learning and experimenting. There's always something exciting happening in the design world, and I love being at the forefront of these developments! Teaching has become one of my greatest passions. I'm patient, enjoy a good laugh, and nothing makes me happier than seeing that lightbulb moment when concepts suddenly click for my students. Whether we're building a complex layered illustration or transforming ordinary photos into something spectacular, I believe learning should feel empowering, not intimidating. My lessons are designed to be hands-on, creative, and fun! Each 1-hour session combines practical projects with step-by-step guidance, ensuring you learn by doing—not just watching.

I use a personalized approach that adapts to your learning style and pace—whether you're a visual learner who needs to see concepts in action, or someone who learns best through hands-on experimentation.

With 13 years of experience as a professional illustrator and designer across e-learning, education, and game art, I bring real-world insights into every lesson. I’ve taught both online and in-person and know how to make complex design concepts feel clear, approachable, and exciting.

My lessons are perfect for anyone aged 12 and up—from curious teens discovering their creative spark, to adults switching careers, to experienced designers wanting to sharpen their skills or explore AI tools.

Whatever your skill level, I'm here to guide, encourage, and cheer you on as you develop both technical mastery and your unique creative voice. Let's create something amazing together!

Perfect! I recently had a private Illustrator lesson with Boaz at his home, and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. His home environment was spotless and welcoming — no small feat with two young children in the house! His family were lovely and gave us complete privacy so we could stay focused during the session.

I came to the lesson with several complex Illustrator files that were giving me trouble, and Boaz patiently worked through each issue until everything was resolved. He has a calm, methodical approach and a real depth of knowledge that made even the most confusing parts of Illustrator start to make sense.

Beyond his technical skill, Boaz is warm, genuine, and easy to work with — you instantly feel at ease. I left the lesson not only with my problems solved but also with a much clearer understanding of the program.
