About Zack
I’m a First-Class MEng Electronic & Information Engineering graduate from Imperial College London, with a strong academic background in mathematics, programming, and engineering systems. Throughout my degree, I consistently achieved high marks in mathematically and technically demanding modules, including software systems, robotics, and embedded systems.
I enjoy helping people understand difficult concepts and approach problems logically. I’m patient, approachable, and always aim to explain ideas clearly, adapting my style to suit each student. Having worked on a range of team-based technical projects, I’m used to communicating complex ideas in a clear and structured way.
I take a professional and organised approach to tutoring. Lessons are well prepared, focused on the student’s goals, and designed to build confidence as well as understanding. I’m reliable, punctual, and committed to providing a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
Outside of tutoring, I have a strong interest in technology, robotics, and problem-solving, which keeps me motivated and up to date with the subjects I teach.

My lessons are focused on helping students properly understand concepts, not just memorise methods. I aim to make challenging topics feel logical and manageable by breaking them down step by step and encouraging students to think through problems with confidence.
I typically start each lesson by identifying what the student finds most difficult, then explain the core ideas clearly using worked examples. We then spend most of the session practising questions together, with guidance and feedback throughout. I adapt my teaching style to suit each student, whether they prefer a more structured approach or a conversational, problem-solving style.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if needed. All lessons are delivered online, using screen sharing and an interactive whiteboard so that explanations and problem-solving are clear and engaging.
I am a First-Class MEng Electronic & Information Engineering graduate from Imperial College London, with a strong background in mathematics, programming, and systems engineering. Through my degree and group projects, I have regularly explained complex technical ideas to others, which has helped me develop a clear and patient teaching style.
My lessons are suitable for:
A-level Maths and Further Maths students
GCSE Maths students
University students studying Python, programming, or engineering-related subjects
Adult learners looking to improve their mathematical or programming skills
My goal is to help students build confidence, improve understanding, and perform at their best in exams or coursework.

Having known Zack for many years, I would highly recommend him as a Tutor.
I met Zack in sixth form and have always known him to be a very friendly and chilled guy.
During my university studies, if I ever had a maths heavy problem that I was struggling with, I could bring it to Zack and he would not only help me complete it, but would always explain things in an easy to understand way with no judgement on what I may be having difficulty with.I've known Zack for many years and I can highly recommend him for tutoring.
We went to the same sixth form and he's been a very friendly and chilled out guy.
While I was in university I could come to Zack for any maths heavy work that I was struggling with and he could not only help me with completing it, but also explained things in a very easy to understand way with no judgement on what I may be finding difficult.I have known Zack since 2018, and we have been close friends for a long time. Zack is hard working and passionate, meaning that he always produces high quality work and planning for his lessons. He completed a master’s degree from Imperial Collage London with a 1st, and is highly knowledgeable about his subjects, especially Maths. He is also a great communicator and truly cares about helping people achieve their best. I believe that he will make an excellent Superprof.
