About Dhananjay
Since I taught in the Combined Cadet Force as a Flight Sergeant, I have had a passion in teaching students. In this role I looked after, planned lessons for and taught year 9 students for a year. I saw how much my students had grown in this period and this is exactly what I plan to do with my tutees, who will not only become more skilled at their subject but will also enjoy the lessons. I will create an environment where they look forward to my teaching while still staying professional.

My teaching method consists of understanding how my student works best on an individual level, allowing me to tailor my lessons to them and highlight their weak points so more time can be allocated to these topics. I also like to introduce competition in order to motivate the student, as I am aware how boring it could be when the student doesn't have any comparison point. While my main goal is to push students to achieve the grades they want, my aim is to also build their confidence in the subject and incite a passion for that subject so they are motivated to go above and beyond. I focus a lot on building the student's work ethic and showing them how to enjoy the work that they do so that they will be well equipped for life after.
My lessons will be an hour long with homeworks given to the student to consolidate their learning. Every lesson will consist of a recap, theory and practice questions so the student feels well equipped and knows what exam questions look like.
My GCSE grades are nine 9s, two 8s and an A in the Free Standing Maths Qualification. My A level subjects were Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry, in which I achieved A*A*AA.
