About Joe
Hi, I'm Joe from Leicester and I'm currently in my 5th year of studying medicine at Imperial College London. I have had continuous academic excellence and have tutored in the past. I aim not just to teach, but to build confidence in the sciences, to be stronger and to succeed in the future. I hope to make the sciences more accessible and interesting while improving grades and knowledge.
The knowledge is fresh in my memory and I can discuss it easily, I am also very aware of exam structure and the processes to perform well in them.
Medicine requires communication skills and the completion of aptitude tests, meaning I have a capable mind to teach and discuss. It also means I can help with medical aptitude tests (if required) as I have a very up to date knowledge with the tests and achieved high marks in both the UKCAT and BMAT. Furthermore, I can aid in any area of the medical or science application, be that mock interviews, personal statement review or other. I have now read and advised on over 100 personal statements and can help maximise your chances of getting into medical school.

Joe initially started tutoring my 12 year old daughter in Science subjects but as time went on she actually asked him to help with other subjects - which he was more than happy to do. He was patient with her but also challenged her and encouraged her to think for herself. He broke each subject down into a form that she could follow and was less confusing for her and within a short space of time her grades (and her confidence) improved remarkably.
