About MORRIS
Having graduated from a 4 year Master's degree at Imperial College London I initially tutored for a few years before joining Teach First as a full-time teacher, and then pursuing a career as first an Actuary and now a Data Scientist.
Even while working in finance for ten years now I have enjoyed tutoring privately part-time as a way of sharing my passion for physics, maths, computing, and really anything science, technology, or economics related.
I believe equipping ourselves with the right understanding of these topics is critical to making the most of life in a modern technological society and I'm grateful for the opportunity I've had to contribute in that regard with each of the families I've tutored for so far.
Outside of work I'm also a keen runner, rower and cyclist, and when I'm not training I enjoy playing the piano and saxophone, 3d printing, chess and photography.

Tailoring lessons to individual needs and objectives, I like to combine my enthusiasm for physics, maths and computing with my passion for problem-solving and the critical thinking skills that have helped me throughout both my scholastic and professional careers.
A typical lesson plan will aim to build your confidence in figuring out how to solve exam problems as the logic puzzles that they all invariably are, and combining both structure and intuition to save time and stress in exam conditions, and hopefully to enjoy the subject as much as I have all these years.
