About Tom
I'm a passionate student of all subjects, especially physics and maths, studying for a Physics degree at Imperial College London. I would love the opportunity to help students achieve their academic goals in physics and maths.
I achieved a high first class qualification in my first year at Imperial.
In terms of teaching experience I have always strived to help my peers with schoolwork as much as I can (as well as accepting help when I need it!). I have also got a passion for sport and have held a coaching position at my local badminton club for the last three years, many of the learning techniques used to master a sport overlap with those used to reach your academic goals.

In GCSE maths and all A Levels, I sat the most recent specifications of exam. In GCSE physics I sat the old specification but a lot of the content is common between the new and the old.

I'm an enthusiastic and patient tutor and student, offering lessons in maths and physics up to A Level, including A Level Further Maths.
In the classes I would like to go through problems with the student, and help them think about how to tackle each one in the right way. This will help the student not only during exams, but also further in their education, where these problem-solving skills will prove incredibly valuable.
I would love the student to be asking questions when they get stuck, and be willing to outline their thought processes to me as they work. This will allow me to help the student improve their skills as much as possible!
