About Alisha
Having recently taken these exams, I understand how difficult it can be navigating various topics and approaching exam-style questions without a clear understanding of the material. My aim is to help students build that understanding so that they feel well-prepared and confident in their abilities when they step into the exam hall.
Alongside my studies, I have also spent time volunteering in a learning centre and a homework club, which has helped me develop the ability to explain ideas clearly and adapt explanations to different learners.

I focus on helping students build a strong and coherent understanding of the material rather than simply memorising answers. My approach is to break difficult topics down step-by-step and encourage students to talk through their thinking in order to gain confidence in how they approach the problems.
Lessons are typically 1 hour and can be catered to the student's needs. This might include reviewing challenging topics, practising exam-style questions, or working through past paper questions together while discussing the reasoning and exam technique behind each step.
Having recently studied these subjects myself, I am very familiar with the curriculum and the exam technique required to succeed. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and can build confidence in the subject.
My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A Level students who want to strengthen their understanding of the subject, improve exam technique, or focus on specific areas they may find challenging.
