About Arjun
I'm Arjun, a Mechanical Engineering student at Imperial College London, one of the world's leading universities for science and engineering. I've just finished my first year and am heading into my second, having built a strong foundation across mathematics, mechanics, thermodynamics, and physics.
I did my A-Levels recently enough to remember exactly what it feels like to sit in front of a difficult exam paper; the pressure, the time constraints, and the moments where a concept just doesn't click. That experience is what drives me to tutor. I genuinely enjoy breaking down problems that seem overwhelming at first and making them feel manageable, and I get a lot of satisfaction from seeing a student's confidence grow over time.
Outside of my degree, I'm patient, methodical, and easy to talk to which are qualities I think matter just as much as subject knowledge when it comes to tutoring.

I'm an Imperial College London Mechanical Engineering student entering my second year, offering online one-to-one tuition in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics at GCSE and A-Level.
Having completed my own A-Levels very recently, I know exactly how these subjects are examined and where students tend to lose marks — whether that's misreading a question, skipping steps in working, or gaps in a specific topic. I use that insight to target each student's weak points directly rather than working through a generic plan.
Sessions are tailored entirely to you — your exam board, your syllabus, your pace. I focus heavily on exam technique alongside content, using past papers and worked examples throughout. A typical session runs 60 minutes and combines concept explanation with practised application, so you leave having actually used what you've learnt, not just heard it.
My engineering background gives me a particularly strong grounding in the mathematical and physical reasoning that trips up many A-Level students — especially in mechanics and calculus.
