About Christa
My name is Christa, and I’m a medical student at Imperial College London. I’ve been tutoring for several years, working with a range of students from KS2 through to A-Level, as well as guiding aspiring medics with their personal statements, UCAT, and interviews. What drives me is seeing my students succeed not just in exams, but in finding confidence in their subjects and reaching their goals. Whether that’s securing A* grades or receiving an offer from a dream university, I want to be the mentor who supports them every step of the way. Above all, I want my students to enjoy learning, feel confident in their abilities, and believe in their potential.

My Approach I keep lessons structured but flexible, adapting to the way each student learns best. I provide a free 15 minute consultation where we discuss learning styles, plans, and goals for my students to then tailor perfect lessons specific to each student’s needs. I use active recall, exam-style questions, and past papers to strengthen knowledge and improve technique. I also place a strong focus on mark schemes, showing students exactly what examiners are looking for so they can refine their answers and gain those extra marks. Lesson Details: Lessons are usually an hour long and balance explanation with practice and detailed feedback and breakdowns. Weekly report is provided with homework if requested. KS2: Maths & English KS3: Maths Physics Chemistry Biology GCSE: Maths Physics Chemistry & Biology A levels: Biology, Chemistry As a current medical student, I also work with students applying to Medicine. I offer guidance with personal statements, UCAT preparation, and interview practice, helping applicants feel confident and prepared.
