About Amelia
I love to tutor as I think it’s vital for students to get personalised one-on-one support to help them with their studies. As my tutoring sessions progress, I begin to get to know my students more and so can better personalise my sessions for them. I offer highly personalised and supportive lessons in which the students feel comfortable to share ideas and discuss. I also give my students opportunity to request what they’d like to cover in lessons as I think it’s important they feel they’re getting the most out of the time.

My lessons are for anyone studying maths at GCSE level or below. The typical length of my lessons are one hour in which I will teach the student content and then go through many practise questions with them to consolidate. I think the best way to learn maths is lots of practice so I emphasise this in my lessons. I received a grade 9 in both GCSE maths and further maths, and an A in A-Level maths. I began tutoring when studying my A-Levels so I have lots of experience with teaching many different students.
