About Panukorn
I am a full-time Engineer with a Master's Degree from Imperial College London in Civil Engineering and a PGCert in Applied Statistics from Birkbeck University. I graduated from Harrow School Bangkok, where I was awarded the Headmaster's award for leadership and received 4 A*s in my A-levels, 5 As in my AS-levels and 7A*s and 2As in my GCSEs. Being appointed head boy and house captain in school, I had the privilege of working with many students - one of the most important skills I learnt was to be approachable and that, I believe is how effective student-teacher relationships start.

I firmly believe that a positive and supportive teaching environment brings the best out of the student and the teacher. My approach is geared towards improving fundamental understanding and not imitating to take an exam - this is an approach that I've held true throughout 5 years of teaching as well as my own academic career. Teaching my students to fully understand the problem, working-out process and solution are central to my teaching philosophy and I firmly believe that this approach produces the strongest long-term results. Hence, lessons should be at least 1 hour to fully explain theory with time to go through some examples. Ideally, 1.5 to 2 hours is required to go through theory, examples and practice questions.
