About Craig
Helping students overcome challenges and enjoy playing violin is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching. I love seeing the moment when a difficult technique finally becomes comfortable after regular practice.
I have a Bachelor of Music and 10 years of experience teaching teenagers and adult students. Over this time, I've learned that encouragement and clear explanations can make learning much easier and more enjoyable.
I believe every student should feel proud of their progress, no matter their starting level. My goal is to support students as they develop their skills and continue enjoying music for years to come.

Learning with me means building violin skills through clear guidance, regular practice, and a comfortable learning pace. My classes focus on helping students understand each technique properly while enjoying the process of making music.
We'll work on posture, bow hold, finger placement, intonation, vibrato, shifting, rhythm, ear training, tone production, sight reading, music theory, and performance skills. Through exercises and musical pieces, students learn how small improvements can create a big difference in their playing.
Regular progress checks and simple practice goals help you stay focused between lessons. As you continue developing, you'll notice smoother playing, better sound quality, and more confidence with every performance.
