About Keesha
Hi! I’m Keesha, a student and passionate communicator who enjoys helping others become more confident in using English. I have experience in public speaking, impromptu speaking, debate, journalism writing, and broadcasting, and I’ve competed in various divisional and regional competitions. I’m also an NSPC qualifier in both journalism writing and broadcasting and have ranked highly in debate in Ilocos Norte.
Beyond competitions, I genuinely enjoy sharing what I’ve learned with others. I understand that speaking or writing in English can sometimes feel intimidating, so I aim to create a comfortable and encouraging space where students can learn without being afraid of making mistakes. I’m patient, open to questions, and always willing to adjust my lessons to what works best for each student.

I believe English is best learned by actually using it, not just memorizing rules. My lessons focus on vocabulary, listening, writing, and speaking through conversations, activities, exercises, and real-life examples. A typical lesson includes a short warm-up, the main topic, guided practice, an activity, and feedback. I also adjust lessons depending on each student's needs and level.
What sets me apart is my experience in actually using these skills. I've competed in impromptu speaking and debate, earned placements in regional and divisional competitions, and qualified for Nationals in both writing and broadcasting. My lessons are for students who want to become more confident and effective English communicators.
