About Catherine
Hi! My name is Catherine, and I'm a DELF-certified French tutor with a lifelong passion for the French language. I attended French schools throughout my entire childhood and continued studying French throughout high school, where I earned my DELF diploma.
I'm currently a Pre-Veterinary Animal Biology student with plans to become a veterinarian and one day open a bilingual clinic so I can help people from different backgrounds feel comfortable and understood.
French has always been a big part of my life. I've traveled to France multiple times and love sharing not only the language but also the culture with my students. Because I've been in French classrooms myself, I understand the challenges students face and know how to make learning French feel less intimidating and more enjoyable.
My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their grades, and realize that learning French can actually be fun!

Bonjour! My name is Catherine, and I am a DELF-certified French tutor passionate about helping students succeed in French.
My teaching style is personalized, patient, and interactive. I adapt each lesson to the student's learning style, goals, and pace, focusing on building confidence while strengthening grammar, vocabulary, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
A typical lesson includes a review of previous material, targeted practice, explanation of new concepts, and support with homework, assignments, or exam preparation.
What sets me apart is my DELF certification, strong understanding of the French language, and ability to make learning enjoyable and approachable. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills.
My lessons are ideal for elementary, middle school, and high school students, including Core French, Extended French, French Immersion, beginners, and students preparing for tests or DELF exams.
